I’m so excited you’re here and interested in either yoga or massage.
I am a 200hr RYT trained in Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative yoga. I began practicing yoga for the physical aspect but never felt very connected to it until I signed up on a whim for teacher training. The lightbulb went off and I felt an emotional and spiritual connection like never before. I fell in love with yoga’s deep cultural roots, spiritual teachings and philosophy. I am passionate about community and awareness and how yoga brings these two aspects together so beautifully. I believe that the connection we are seeking already lives within each of us and that we can find this when we turn inward and listen. I encourage my students to be curious, playful and to follow their intuition on and off the mat. I truly believe that yoga is for every-body and that we can practice yoga without ever stepping foot on a mat.
After completing a 200 hr yoga training, I was hungry to learn more, anything I could about deepening connection and working with the body. This led me to pursue a massage therapy degree and I quickly learned that I had found another passion of mine. I believe the body intuitively knows what we need and what we desire but often times we’re moving too quickly to listen to its cues. One of the reasons I love both yoga and massage, is that it gives us the opportunity to slow down and listen to the body’s wisdom, to go inward and to utilize our senses in a way that can promote healing and greater peace of mind.
